Arts Network

The Arts Network Department is responsible for managing the spaces within the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre to foster learning exchange and cultural participation across all sectors. It coordinates collaborations and works closely with networks, artists, and organisations both locally and internationally to create diverse and high-quality activities. The department allocates and supports the use of spaces within the building to maximise their potential and also advises external organisations on organising all types of creative activities.

The People’s Gallery Project is an initiative that supports artists and individuals with artistic talent, without limitation on the type of work. BACC has allocated three rooms in the Art-Hub zone for artists to present their artworks to the public, while raising exhibition standards, free of charge. In addition, the People’s Gallery Emerging Curator programme expands opportunities for curators by providing space to demonstrate their skills in exhibition management and organisation. Both projects foster a community of artists and curators who can exchange ideas and expand networks.

Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre plays an important role as a hub for art and cultural programming within Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW). Through this collaboration, the Centre contributes to advancing environmental discourse by harnessing the power of art and culture.

Activities include art exhibitions, workshops, talks, film screenings, and programmes for children. Artists and experts from diverse disciplines come together to share their experiences and perspectives, creating a space for meaningful engagement with climate and environmental issues.
