It acts as a laboratory for experimentation between art and other disciplines, as well as a platform for exploring and disseminating contemporary cultural practices through art. Ace House Collective’s artistic vision aims to address the role and function of contemporary art in society today. This includes generating projects that utilise forms of imitation or fictional institution as a methodology to represent and interpret various everyday structuresand institutions that are part of the everyday life of Indonesian people. Through these projects, Ace House attempt to engage with different communities by creating artwork as a form of ‘common’ activity which people can experience, and at the same time, negotiating the discussions around the concept of 'social class' experiences. Ace House as a collective, has a non-hierarchical structure, most projects are collaborative, which came out of collective brainstorming processes.
