Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) opens a week-long public platform for learning, participation, and collective transformation. Taking place from 23 September to 5 October 2025, it weaves together everyday experiences—air pollution, heat, flooding—with collective efforts to shape a future that is just, livable, and climate-safe.

Organised by Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC),  the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and Just Transitions Incubator (JUTI), in partnership with local and international collaborators. The BACC plays a vital role as a hub for art and cultural programming within BKKCAW. Through curated exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, talks, and interactive programs, BACC reimagines art as a language of dialogue, reflection, and climate awareness.

From the exhibitions along the Curved Wall, 3rd – 5th Floors and the Hall, L floor, to film screenings and panel discussions in the Auditorium, 5th floor, workshops and seminars in the Multi-Function Room,1st floor, the Climate Community Playground, in the Hall, 1st floor along with creative bracelet-making workshops using recycled materials in the Hall, 5th floor and more—each activity is interwoven into a shared pathway that invites the public to engage in reflection, dialogue, and collective action in response to the climate crisis.

BACC’s participation in BKKCAW affirms its commitment to using art and culture as a universal medium for raising awareness and inspiring social change. Here, local voices and public engagement take center stage, expanding the boundaries of what climate action can mean. Together, they open up space to reimagine the “good life” in times of crisis, and to move toward an ecological transition rooted in creativity, empathy, and collective responsibility. Stay tuned for more program updates.
