“YOUNG Dek: The Complicated Lives of Bangkok Youth”
An exhibition space designed to simulate the journey of physical and emotional growth for adolescent girls living in Bangkok will feature a series of exhibitions and panel discussions. The event showcases their everyday lives, dreams, anxieties, and the challenges they face within the context of family and community, as well as the complex realities of life in a large metropolitan city like Bangkok.
Growing up is a journey that touches all of us, not just children, families, or schools. We all play a role in supporting the growth and well-being of adolescent girls in our cities. It’s important for us to come together to provide the care and guidance they need to thrive, as their success and happiness truly matter to our communities.
This event invites people from all over Bangkok to gather and engage in meaningful discussions on an important question: As adults, neighbors, professionals, and members of an urban community, how can we support them so they can grow up safely and healthily, with the freedom to be themselves?
The exhibition starts on January 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00, with a Panel Discussion from 13:30 to 15:00 at the Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).
